Session on Indian Culture and Management Education

On November 8, 2024, students at the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Noida attended an enlightening session of the value-added course on the Indian Knowledge System, titled “Indian Culture and Management Education.” This session introduced students to the principles and values embedded within Indian culture, offering a unique perspective on how these elements can enhance modern management education.

Dressed in traditional attire, students embraced the cultural atmosphere and immersed themselves in the heritage and philosophies discussed. As part of the session, they practiced Bhramari Pranayama, a yoga breathing exercise known for its calming effects and ability to enhance concentration. Guided by experienced instructors, students learned how this yogic practice can help manage stress, improve focus, and foster mindfulness—qualities that are essential for effective leadership and management.The session emphasized the relevance of ancient Indian knowledge and practices within contemporary business education.
