The spirit of patriotism and unity was on full display as the Symbiosis Noida Campus celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day on 15th August 2024. Students came together to honor the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and embrace the values of democracy, diversity, and progress. The celebrations commenced in the morning with the hoisting of the national flag in the presence of esteemed faculty members, students, and staff. The tricolor soared high as everyone stood in unison, singing the National Anthem with immense pride. The solemn yet inspiring moment was followed by an address from the campus director, who emphasized the significance of Independence Day and the students’ responsibility as the nation’s future leaders.
Following the flag hoisting, the celebrations moved to the auditorium, where an engaging cultural program awaited the audience. Students from all three institutes actively participated, showcasing their talents through various artistic performances. The event began with a captivating musical tribute performed by students from SIBM, Noida. The stage then came alive with vibrant dance performances that showcased India’s rich cultural heritage. Various groups from SIBM, Noida captivated the audience with classical and folk dances, celebrating the unity in diversity that defines our nation. Thought-provoking skits and speeches were delivered by students, highlighting the importance of freedom, democracy, and the contributions of Indian leaders in shaping the country’s future. Additionally, a range of engaging activities, including quizzes and poetry recitations about India’s journey to independence, kept the audience involved and enriched their knowledge of the nation’s history.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the organizing committee, followed by the distribution of sweets among all attendees. The Independence Day celebration at Symbiosis Noida Campus was a true testament to the students’ enthusiasm, creativity, and patriotism, making it a memorable occasion for all.
