Overview
The Social Responsibility Club of SIBM, Noida organised the Joy of Giving initiative, a visit to Mala Smriti Home, an NGO supporting underprivileged children for over 21 years. Students donated essential items and spent meaningful time with the children through interactions, storytelling, and engaging activities, spreading happiness and positivity.
Objective
Inspired by the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family,” the initiative aimed to encourage empathy, compassion, and social responsibility among students. The event provided an opportunity to connect with the children, understand their aspirations, and reinforce the value of giving back to society.
Conclusion
The event successfully promoted kindness, generosity, and community engagement. Through active participation and meaningful interactions, students demonstrated a strong commitment to social responsibility. The initiative highlighted the importance of empathy and set a positive example for future community service activities at SIBM, Noida.
