Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Noida, observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August 2025, reaffirming its commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. The initiative focused on spreading awareness, challenging perspectives, and encouraging collective responsibility in building a ragging-free campus.
The week featured a series of engaging activities including an awareness presentation, interactive quiz, digital poster showcase, and a pledge on the Canvas of Commitments. These activities provided students with opportunities to reflect, express, and unite against the harmful practices of ragging.
A highlight of the initiative was the group debate, “Challenging Perspectives: Anti-Ragging Realities”, where students exchanged views on critical topics such as the role of strict punishment, peer-led initiatives, anonymous reporting, and mentorship in preventing ragging. The discussion fostered critical thinking while reinforcing the importance of empathy, respect, and accountability.
Through this campaign, SIBM Noida emphasized that ragging is not a tradition, but a violation of dignity and safety. By standing together, the SIBM community continues to uphold its values of respect, equality, and student wellbeing.
